Seth’s Giving Tree supports Lancaster County SC FCA. Our mission to promote Christian values by growing faith, hope, respect, integrity and generosity of the youth of Lancaster County ties in well with that of Lancaster County SC FCA’s mission to present to coaches and athletes, and all whom they influence, the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church. By working together, we are able to grow faith in Christ and support each other’s programs in Lancaster County.

Since 1954, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful medium of athletics to impact the world for Jesus Christ. FCA is the largest interdenominational, school-based, Christian sports ministry in America. The vision of FCA is to see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of athletes and coaches. FCA carries out this vision though what they call the 4 C’s.

Coaches are the heart of FCA. FCA aims to minister to them by encouraging and equipping them to know and serve Christ.

Campus ministry is initiated and led by student-athletes and coaches on junior high, high school and college campuses.

Camps are a time of “inspiration and perspiration” for coaches and athletes to reach their potential by offering comprehensive athletic, spiritual and leadership training.

Community ministry is the non-school based FCA ministries that reach the community through partnerships with the local churches, businesses, parents and volunteers. These ministries not only reach out to the community, but also allow the community to invest in athletes and coaches.

Here at Seth’s Giving Tree, we want to help FCA further their impact on the world by assisting locally by rewarding scholarships to football team camps, football sport camps, FCA High School & Middle School retreats and campus ministry outreach events, such as the annual FCA Rally in the Valley at Clemson University.

FCA Camp Scholarship opportunities –
In 2012, we were able to provide scholarships for two football players to FCA Sports camp that summer. In 2013, we will be able to provide three player scholarships and one team scholarship through our partnership with FCA and our sponsors. Our goal is to grow this each year to bring these student athletes closer to Christ and challenge them to share that relationship with their fellow students and teammates.

Seth’s Giving Tree now provides camp opportunities for all Lancaster County football teams.

Check with you school’s administration team to confirm dates and times of FCA meetings at your school.
