Seth was always smiling. Our ray of sunshine loved God, his family, his friends and pets. His passions were football and baseball.

Seth enjoyed life. He savored its challenges and hoped to succeed at everything he attempted. Seth wasn’t perfect, but he touched us all in a special way. It was God’s privilege that we should know him.

Not afraid to share his faith with others, Seth lived by the words of his favorite Bible verse, Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” God put us on Earth to do His work. Seth did his job better and faster than most, and he returned to God too soon.

As in Shel Silverstein’s book The Giving Tree, Seth wanted to help others. Through Seth’s Giving Tree organization, our mission is to give others—especially the youth of Lancaster County—an opportunity to learn about Christ through projects and programs in the community.

We hope and pray that Seth’s legacy of love and respect will allow more people to recognize Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. This organization will honor Seth’s memory while also honoring God, who blessed us for a brief time, with a son, a brother and a friend.
